Farewell Eureka

Royce and I were invited to attend a farewell dinner hosted by our dear friends Nancy and Brian Craig. Here we are with some of our good friends who attended that wonderful dinner, Bruce and Georgia Hannel, we will miss them very much.

Two wonderful women who I have been blessed to know, be friends with and serve with. Mary Medley and Nancy Craig, I will miss them more than words can express.

My dear friend Kathy Smith, what a wonderful friend and lady to know, I just love her!

Kathy being "shocked" by the love :) She hosted a morning of Spud Nut making and a game of Mexican Train just one more time before our departure. It was a nice break from the packing, and truly fun to enjoy the company of the ladies that came over to have fun with us.

On our way South we stopped at a few of our favorite places along 101. Here are all the kids in our favorite tree house.

A full view of the tree house, the picture does it no justice..it looks so tiny here!

Zachariah sitting at the top.

Our drive South on the 101..beautiful! This is the Eel River, it is a great river to visit during the summer and to swim in.

More of the Eel river.
We made it to Willits! Shortly South of Willits we began to drive East on Highway 20

Somewhere East of Reno, what we got to look at along our drive.

The kids thought this was pretty funny..we were in Nevada somewhere and stopped for lunch.

Along the way we saw several signs that seemed to be reminding us of where we were driving from, the boys have a friend Carlin who lives in Eureka which is definitely West!

Brutus enjoying being held like a baby on the car ride to our new home and a break from the crate. The trip went very smoothly. We were blessed with good roads and safety.
It takes a lot of work to move, big changes to grow into and opportunities to embrace. We look forward to living and enjoying our new home in Sun Valley, Idaho.
