We went for an early morning drive through our neighborhood just over a week ago, I thought this just looked stunning.

One of the "new and different" signs we will have to get used to, they offer horse drawn sleigh rides here in our neck of the woods. We got here a little late in the season to actually see one going by but know they are a hit amongst the locals and the visitors alike.

The ski lifts at Dollar Mountain..we live about 2 miles or so from here..this is all right here in our neighborhood..amazing!
YES we actually do have to keep an eye out for skiers in our neighborhood. We live in a golf course community and have signs out to watch for golf carts in the summer too, depending on the season depends on your pedestrian and what they are doing.
We went on into town and came upon this HUGE chair! The kids thought it was fun and that we all look like we shrunk...

One of the beautiful views from the practice windows... this is looking West out at Baldy Mountain..one of the most intense ski mountains here we are told. Even people who say they thought they were awesome up in Veil Co. Say Baldy is way more challenging for them..we are planning to learn to ski next season, Royce is the only down hill skier out of our whole family. I like to cross country (Nordic) ski and I love to snow shoe, but I am willing to learn to down hill or snow board right along with the kids. We all look forward to new adventures and opportunities for growth. So far we all are loving our new home and look forward to being here for many years to come.
