Let the Summer Fun Begin!

We have become pretty serious about taking on the biking that is so abundant around us. We found a bike for Sherry and possibly Janelle if the one we got Saturday fits her well, if not Elise will have a great bike. Austin has been working at his job and saving away, we finally found a great bike on Saturday as well that even fits his tall frame!

I decided I needed a really BIG bike to take on the 'Big Country' were we live. Our elevation is 5840 and Mt. Baldy is 9,260 to the top, I am thinking this bike was designed with our area in mind :) In all actuality we have fabulous bike trails all over. They are paved and maintained by the county and different communities that they run through, it is only a 4 mile ride to the office from our house right now, so biking is something we plan to do a lot of over the summer, we just need to find Malia and Zachariah some decent bikes so we can all ride together.

We have this fabulous saline pool in the neighborhood/community we live in that is for residence and our guests only. It feels great to swim in and is so nice on the skin, hair and eye's, we all are spending good amounts of time swimming too. Malia is a little fish and has no fear!

Royce always makes us laugh! When people told us at our wedding that we would have so much fun being married to each other, I really wonder if they truly knew 'How much fun and how much laughter' we would share.

Janelle went to Boise with her class just before school got out. She took a ton of pictures so I only am posting a few. This is one of the many and it is a statue, Janelle said it was amazing looking to her.

The beaver..we have a family of them living in the pond directly behind our next door neighbors house. The creek runs behind our house and through the pond then on down to another, larger pond. We also have some river otters in the creek and ponds as well, they are so cute! Janelle thought her picture of the beaver was 'cool'

Not so great of a picture but this is a two headed calf at the museum Janelle went to as well. She was most excited to see this particular exhibit and talked about it before they even went.

The ceiling inside the capital building in Boise. Janelle thinks it is beautiful, which I have to agree with her, this is some intricate tile work. She really enjoyed going to Boise and learning more about our state. We are enjoying life here and working at making our practice grow. We are loving the time we spend with our Special Olympic Swim team and truly love giving back to our community is such a fun way. We are grateful for all the many blessings we have. Sherry loves serving as first counselor in Relief Society and is truly enjoying the friendships that are developing. It is going to be a busy summer with Scout Camp, EFY, Eagle Scout Projects and all the planning that goes along with that and many other things this season. We are happy and excited to say..Hooray Summer is here!!!
