It's Official!

Today has been a big day at the Brunette household. Today is the last day of school for all of the kids. Today also marks a big mile stone for Austin. It is Official, Austin is now a High School Freshman! Elise is now officially a High School Senior! My oh my how this year has flown by!
We attended the promotion ceremony for the 2009 8TH grade class. Austin looked sharp in is nice slacks and blazer, along with a nice shirt and tie. Austin maintained his grades through out the year to keep himself on the B Honor Roll. We are so pleased that he applies himself to his school work and does such a good job.

Last week-end Austin attended the 8TH grade dinner and dance, here he is after he got home, he had a great time, but does not plan to attend anymore school dances. He likes the Youth Dances and feels those are much more fun and better than the school dances.
We have needed to change the way the washer and dryer doors open to make transferring of clothes easier. Yesterday on Royce's lunch break this is what he did for me. I personally REALLY appreciate this, I am the one that uses these two machines the most so truly this was a handyman job done for me, done with love.
This school year has gone by so quickly. We all are looking forward to a fun summer and a nice break from school books, classes, LOTS of driving and just the bustle that the school years brings.
