This is a smidge of the coast line that we traveled, we live in such a beautiful place
Royce, Janelle, Zachariah and Malia, at fort Bragg Beach line
we have also been going inland about 30 miles to get some sun and warmth. Eureka reaches a high of 62 maybe 65 if it is really a "hot" day so inland is a must. We found a new favorite place called Grizzley Creek which is fabulous for swimming and picnic's..this is Janelle and Malia having fun in the little inflatable boat
Zachariah needs to catch one more fish for his scout fishing badge, this is is first fish he has caught just a block and a half away from our house..living close to the water is fun, especially for boys wanting to fish at any given time.
Janelle and Malia at the river parking lot chowing on watermelon and trying to warm each other up in the shade
Malia soaking up some sun for a few moments before she jumps back into the river

Royce and I at Big River in Fort Bragg...we love the morning walks we do when we are out camping, it is a great way to start the day before we get to work with breakfast and clean up

Zachariah enjoying the morning sunshine at Big River with us

The two girls..leave it to them to have swim suites on by 8 a.m. and ready to play in the water and sand..this is at Big River also...

Royce taking in the sun and gorgeous California coast line

Elise at Glass Beach which is also in Fort Bragg, it is just so pretty there

And here is Royce finding glass that washes up on Glass Beach, there were some really neat pieces, it is a neat beach to visit..interesting and different than the other beaches. It has been a few very busy weeks for us, we are enjoying the tail end of summer and it seems trying to squeeze as much as we can in before the kids go back to school on the 31st. Family time is our favorite time, we always enjoy the fun together and the memories we are creating as well...Malia summed up Sunday in Fort Bragg the best her exact words were "This is the best day of my life!" I take it beach time is her favorite time, so cute!

This looks like lots of fun. We did a lot of camping when the kids were home. And there is nothing so beautiful as the coast.
I could just camp everyday. That beach and river look like a lot of fun
