On with the show this is it!

Over the week-end Elise Royce and I performed at the annual Beer and Peanuts show hosted by The Humboldt Harmonaires. Royce is a member of the International Barbershop Organization and has spent over a year and a half now performing and singing barbershop with his local chorus here in Eureka. Elise and I are members of the local women's barbershop choral Coastal Chords and this too is our second year performing as guest's with the Humboldt Harmonaires.


Elise and I just before we performed our songs. We sang some really difficult music this year and had a lot of fun practicing over the summer and developing more talent for this style of singing, lots of good clean family fun!

First time performers in quartet "The Four Chords of Redwoods" all of these men have sung together for years just not in quartet, they sounded great!

This is the other local quartet that sang "Mirth First" these guys are always a hoot and have been singing together for eleven years, very talented always have a silly skit to go with their songs and truly are a delight.
The week-end was very busy and packed full of stuff to do. Austin spoke in sacrament on Sunday with Brother Pace, our High Counsel rep. This is the second time Austin has gone with Brother Pace to speak, but the first time in our own ward. Austin is a remarkable young man, we are so blessed to have him in our home and family he truly is a sweet, genuine, excellent example and talented individual that is growing up so very quickly.
Zachariah attended Spook-a-re with the scouts over the week-end as well, he is advancing in the scouting program and well on his way to his eagle. Zachariah loves scouts and has a lot of fun participating in all the cool fun things that scouts do, he has a fantastic Scout Master as well. We love to see him pursuing good goals and accomplishing them.
