A New years Awaits Us...

And we are off to another New Year with all sorts of New Year goals and aspirations. Royce and I both have full intention and motivation to stay true to some of the goals we have set for this year. Our list is not to terribly long, which is intentional, we truly want to succeed with our goals verses meeting only a fraction of them. We are so blessed to have one another and the love that we share it certainly comes in handy when it's time to lend support to each other.
There is so much that has not been posted on here, simply because time seems to be getting much sneakier and is flying by so very quickly.
We had a very fun very packed December and yet only one post got in here. I started the month off with a craft class for my activity day girls which we all made a cute Christmas decoration. We also celebrated Royce's birthday on the 17Th and also attended Elise and Austin's concert at the High School that evening. The following day we celebrated Janelle's birthday and had some wonderful friends join us for a delightful and delicious meal along with the festivities that evening.
We then had Sherry's parents travel from Central Washington to visit and celebrate the birth of our Savior over Christmas. We truly enjoy the time we spend together with them and wish that we were able to see more family more often. This is just one of the many dis-advantages of living so far from loved ones and in such a rural area. We look forward to the day that we are able to relocate to Idaho and really plant our roots and stay put. With careful planning that goal will be met, and with faith and prayer we both feel it will be sooner than later. We truly are back in the early stages of this step but it is one that we both have made a commitment to pursuing.
On New Years Eve. we took the family and spent time with a ton of friends, played games, ate good finger food, had a ton of laughs, the little kids had a blast jumping in the bounce house while the older kids got to have great fun and time with some of their best friends and we all got home safe and sound.
We are looking forward to this New Year and hope that it is a wonderful year for everyone we know. Here's to the best that's yet to come! Happy New Year!
