Summer is Here!

I thought it was about time that I sit down and share a bit if what the Brunette family has been doing! We started off with a day at the Eureka Redwood Acre fair. We met our good friend Emel there and Elise brought the kids from the family she babysits..in total with our car and Emel's we have 15 kids and 2 mom's!! Some might ask "what were they thinking?? Hellooooo??" But really it turned out to be really fun and we did just about everything we had set out to do. The top hits for all of us was the reptile exhibit and the kelidescope exhibit...both were very cool. The rides were fun and the kids had a ball trying to ride the electric bull. We then packed up and traveled North about 3 hours to Gold Beach Oregon and camped for three night's, played in the Rogue River and of course the beach. We celebrated the 4th there and enjoyed the fireworks. The weather was perfect (low to mid 80's) and with the wind on the beach it felt like a cool 75 but not so cool that you couldn't have fun. We enjoyed the sun, the fun and the time together. No hiking this time, which is unusual for us but it sure was fun playing! hehehe! The girls all made a sandcastle, while the guys played with Angie in the water, then we joined them and cooled off. We go to the beach often and if I posted pictures of that..it would get pretty boring so there are only a few. We go out to another river close by here too but really we all prefer the sand so 15 min to Clam Beach is worth the drive to us. Summer is here and we are enjoying it very much!
