Today was funky clothes day at school for Janelle. Here's Janelle in her outfit that she put together. We think she did great because to us we all thought it was pretty crazy and funky. She was so excited for this day and counted the days until it finally came.
Later that same day at the Award Assembly Janelle was awarded the artist award in front of the whole school. This was a big surprise to her. Janelle is very creative and truly has genuine talent when it comes to art. Royce and I both encourage talents to be developed. It is really nice to see how multifaceted each talent is and to see the growth that is taking place.
Here is a better shot of her with her award. I love that she was able to receive recognition for something that she truly loves to do and the confidence that is developing. Way to go Janelle!
