Gonna Be A Bear
In this life I'm a woman. In my next life' I'd like to come back as a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, your supposed to eat yourself silly. I could deal with that too.
When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (that are the size of walnuts) while your sleeping, and wake to partially grown, cute cuddly cubs. I could definately deal with that.
If you're momma bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake growling. He EXPECTS that you have hairy legs and excess body fat.
Yep, Gonna Be A Bear!
So here is this silly little poem I got and thought, "There really are days one could identify and relate to this." With Fall in the air it is not hard to allow my mind to think in a hibernative state as I sorta feel "squirly" as I aquire and store food all to begin the process to be able to "hibernate"
With a week-end full there is a state of R&R in the house today and this poem just seemed very fitting.
