Our Birthday Boy

Here is Zachariah showing a smidge of his sense of humor, always ready to make someone laugh. He can be a little joke-ster and we appreciate that about him.

This is Zachariah this morning, getting ready to eat his birthday breakfast, Buckwheat Pancakes, already into cake and it's not even 8 a.m.

This picture is about a year old, I like this one it's a nice one of him. He is such a handsome fellow. (he has fantastic dimples and gorgeous blue eye's)

Today Zachariah has officially turned 12!! He is so excited for this one, he FINALLY gets to be involved full speed in the youth program at church and go on over nighters with the scouts, also he will be ordained a Deacon this Sunday, something he is really excited for too.

Zachariah was born on the 9Th of October in 1996 at Madigan Hospital in Fort Lewis Washington. He came into this world weighing in at 9 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long. He had all 10 fingers and 8 toes much to our dismay..we counted again and still counted only 8 toes. You would never know that he only has 8 toes, he runs faster than any of the other kids and does not complain about his foot either, in fact people have no clue unless he is wearing flip flops, or is at the pool or something where no shoes are required. He loves to show people his foot and really enjoys the reaction he gets. His friends think he is really cool having only 8 toes..after all it is kinda rare so Zachariah enjoys being different from all his friends in this aspect. Zachariah is a delight to have in our home and here are a few of the things that we love about him.

1. Zachariah is a peacemaker

2. He is funny and enjoys getting people to laugh

3. He likes to do magic tricks

4. He is really smart (he skipped 3rd grade do to his smartness)

5. Zachariah is kind and thoughtful of others

6. Zachariah is a good Scout

7. Zachariah applies himself to his tasks and goals

8. Zachariah is honest and honorable

9. Zachariah is my right Arm and Hand when it comes to any projects, he is always there to help me to complete the task at hand before he runs off, I never have to ask him, he is just there.

10. Zachariah is dependable

11. Zachariah is a fantastic "kid watcher" and is probably the best one to leave in charge of the little girls, he's an outstanding brother

12. Zachariah makes excellent pancakes, eggs and Cesar salad dressing

13. Zachariah is not picky

14. Zachariah does not complain, whine or snivel

15. He is always bright and cheerful, smiling

16. Zachariah uses his full given name and will correct you if you shorten it (nicely of course)

17. Zachariah is a good responsible pet owner and tends to the animals everyday

18. Zachariah loves the gospel and will miss primary to a degree

19. Zachariah likes to build things (he made an awesome catapult)

20. Zachariah is sweet, tender hearted, caring and gentle

This is a tad about Zachariah there is so much more. He is truly a delight and we are blessed to have him in our family and home. I appreciate Zachariah very much and love the spirit that he brings whenever he enters the room. He is a very choice son of our Heavenly Father, I know this and sometimes am in awe that I have been entrusted.
